What the audit includes

The Manuscript Audit is $449 USD for one fiction manuscript of up to 150,000 words per read. It includes an evidence report, manuscript annotations, a revision workbook, and two full reads: the initial audit and one audit of a revised version of the same work.

The free sample covers the first three chapters only. It requires no payment and cannot establish whole-book continuity. A sample request is subject to readable files and written confirmation of scope.

How the report is made

Threadright combines deterministic software and AI-assisted judgment. Quoted evidence is checked against the manuscript. Candidates that have not been individually adjudicated are identified separately and are not confirmed findings.

A human operator reviews the assembled report for quality control. This is not a human editor’s judgment on every finding. Reports provide editorial decision support; they can miss issues or contain interpretations you disagree with. They do not guarantee publication, representation, sales, or a third party’s response. They are not legal reviews of your manuscript.

Ordering, payment, and timing

Submit your intake and manuscript by email. We confirm readable files, the agreed service, and payment instructions before analysis begins. Payment for a paid audit is due in advance. No payment is taken through this website.

Standard turnaround is 72 hours from our written confirmation of a readable manuscript and completed intake. A 48-hour rush may be arranged for a 50% surcharge, subject to written acceptance. If we cannot meet a committed turnaround, we notify you and offer a full refund or continued service.

Your included second read

Request the second full read within 12 months of first delivery. It applies to a revised version of the same work, up to 150,000 words, and is not transferable to another manuscript. Each order includes two reads in total. The second read has no separate cash value or refund value.

Provide your original order reference. Supported findings may be compared when source versions and the analysis baseline are available. The absence of a previous finding does not by itself establish that an issue is fixed.

Use the intake to request retention of your original manuscript and working baseline for up to 12 months from first delivery. This is optional and is confirmed in writing. Without that arrangement, the standard 30-day deletion policy applies. Keep your original manuscript and delivered files if you choose deletion, and contact us before the second read so we can confirm what must be resupplied. Your second-read entitlement remains valid for the stated period. See retention details.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel for a full refund before analysis begins, or a half refund after analysis begins but before delivery. Rush surcharges are non-refundable once rush work begins. Orders we decline are refunded in full.

If the report is not useful, tell us within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. You do not need to prove that a finding is defective. Contact [email protected] with your order reference.

The verified-quotation guarantee

If the report quotes a passage that does not appear in the manuscript you submitted, the report is free. Email the quotation and order reference within 14 days of delivery. Substantiated claims are refunded in full within five business days of review.

This guarantee concerns source quotation accuracy. It does not guarantee the correctness of editorial interpretations, exhaustive coverage, or an assessment of a different manuscript version. The separate satisfaction refund above remains available.

Your rights and responsibilities

You must be at least 18 and own or control the rights needed to submit your manuscript. Do not submit material you are obliged to keep confidential from the service providers used for analysis. Supply accurate contact information and keep a copy of your manuscript.

Your manuscript remains yours. After full payment, you may use your report and the accompanying files prepared for you. Threadright retains its software, methods, prompts, templates, and report formats. Submitting your work does not give us permission to publish it as a sample.

Confidentiality

We use your manuscript to provide the service, not for advertising or our own model training. The privacy policy explains the processing, retention options, and how to request deletion.

Liability and disputes

Except for the express service and refund commitments above, the service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by applicable law, liability related to the service is limited to the amount paid for it, and neither party is liable for indirect or consequential losses. These terms do not exclude rights that cannot legally be excluded.
